This antique Limoges game pattern berry bowl is beautifully hand painted with a duck in flight, a thick 1/2" gold gilded border and intricate gold flowers on two opposite sides of the bowl. The duck is painted in black, grays and a deep rust with rich autumn tones in the background. The blank was made by Lazeryas, Rosenfeld & Lehman, circa 1890-1900 and is marked with both the makers mark and the green Limoges mark. This individual berry bowl measures approximately 6" in diameter x 1" deep. T are no chips, cracks, hairlines, flaking or crazing. It is in almost perfect condition. T are two faint scratches on the inside wall of the bowl at the 10 o'clock position. This piece comes from a local estate, my mom's and has been in a closed cupboard for over 40 years.
