This beautiful plate is the first of the Mother's Day Plates issued in 1972 by the Lincoln Mint. It is solid sterling silver and 18k gold plated. It was sculpted in bas-relief by Alfred Brunettin from a painting of a collie and her puppies by James Franzen. The plate has never been removed from the shrink wrap but is starting to tarnish a little. It comes with the case and original box. It has the Announcement card and Registration Card. The plate is Numbered 02443. I ship at actual cost plus insurance. It will weigh 4 lbs and ship from ZIP 61938. Thanks for looking!!
