Six (6) unusual old broadsides from a Boston newspaper, probably the Boston Herald , during the trial of Bruno Hauptmann for the kidnapping and murder of Col. and Mrs. Charles Lindbergh's baby, 1935.....these would have appeared on a daily basis in a newsroom window or on the side of an outdoor newstand......(1) Mrs Hauptman hears her husband's plea in his New Jersey extradition fight......(2) Jury selection drawing scene depicting Sheriff J. H. Curtis, Flemington, N.J., and others......(3) Mrs. Anni Hauptmann runns the gauntlet of curious crowd members......(4) "Jafsie" Condon, would-be ransomer and trial witness, signs autographs......(5) Mrs. Hauptmann with Gladys Dimick, secretary to defense counsel......(6) Mrs James A. Farley, Mrs. W. P. Post, and Mrs. Dan McKetrick--notables vattending the trial......all on coated stock paper, 12" x 11" with photos measuring approx. 8" x 9.75"........found recently in a Western Mass. estate sale.......GUARANTEED to be 75 YEARS OLD, and QUITE RARE I THINK......
