This one is made from various pieces of fabric scraps , some grain sack side remnants that still have the original hand stitching down the sides , some nice vintage French herringbone ticking and a lovely piece of early French cotton floral. Crochet lace frames out the floral. Outside of the floral , two different kinds of woven French ticking , one a sandy, cafe au lait , khaki and the other with the same tones only darker and with colored stripes that highlight the colors of the floral. The floral is also a deeper khaki, almost a dark mustard ochre brown. Big full plump feather insert inside~ On the back is a huge length of a very old grain sack , homespun linen with a rasberry pink stripe down the middle and an open weave. The pillow opens with the original hand stitching from the opening of the sack and grain sack ties. All of the grain sack linens in this pillow are magnificent with lovely colors and quality. 13 1/2" x 28"
