This is a linen runner or scarf with figural crochet lace, aprox circa 1940s. The runner measures18 by 52 inches, the edges are hand hemmed with narrow crochet lace, there are 2 handmade crochet lace insert scenes of a fox chasing 2 leaping bunnies through a field. The runner is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The scenes remind me of something from a fairy tail.
