This is an early 1930s Linkman Dr. Grabow DeLuxe Bruyere Model No. 9732 Pat. No. 1896800 in excellent reconditioned shape. Linkman developed the Dr. Grabow pipe in Chicago and produced it until the 1950s when the line was sold to Sparta Industries in the Carolinas. In its original configuration the Linkman Dr. Grabow was a fine pipe, a much higher grade than the drug-store variety Dr. Grabows produced today. This is an outstanding example of the early Linkman pipes and bears the gold Linkman crest stamped into the top of the shank. It has the early Linkman 'propeller' logo embedded in the mouthpiece instead of the later Dr. Grabow spade. The mouthpiece has only some very light teeth marks but I do not grind down mouthpieces and destroy their structural integrity. The pipe has the shovel-style mouthpiece of the early Linkmans. This pipe restored well. I do not smoke dirty pipes, tfore I do not sell dirty pipes. This pipe has been cleaned and sanitized and is ready to smoke. I use nothing but non-toxic, biodegradable products in restoring old pipes. This pipe is 5-5/8 inches long. The inside diameter of the tobacco chamber is 3/4 of an inch. The height of the bowl is 1-7/8 inches. Shipping is $5 domestic and Canada. PayPal is preferred method of payment. No checks, please. International shipping is $10. If - for any reason - you read more
