Up for auction is my Linn LP 12. It is an 1989 model and is in superb condition. I have owned this table for about 12 years and it has been my reference vinyl source for that time. It has been used in a dedicated listening room in a smoke free home. The previous owner did not use the dust cover and I only used it for a couple of years so it is excellent. I replaced the springs a few years ago but really didn't need to so I will include the old springs. Unlike many Linns that I am familiar with this table is very easy to set up and it has not needed adjustment unless I changed tonearms. I have used several tonearms on this table over the years including unipivots (Stax UA-9 and UA-7) and have had no problem getting them to perform as they should. I have also used three different power supplies over the years (Linn Valhalla and first generation Lingo) and have found the Origin Live DC power supply to be superior. The Origin Live power supply is the one with the upgraded transformer. It has been on this table for the last 5 or 6 years. It's speed accuracy is rock solid. It was a huge upgrade from the Valhalla. I paid over $1100.00 for it. It is interesting that after all these years Linn has just decided to offer a DC power supply as their latest upgrade at a cost of $4250.00.
