LIONEL #1062 ENGINE WITH SLOPE-BACK TENDER I have recently purchased a collection of Postwar and MPC Era Lionel Trains and accessories as well as Plasticville and other related items. This collection belonged to a gentleman who set up a large display for the Christmas Holidays for many years. I will be offering items from this collection in my auctions and store. is a Lionel #1062 engine with a Slope-Back Tender. The tender shell is a carry over from the Post-War 1615 Switcher. The Engine has one traction tire and runs and pulls well in both directions. The head light is operational. Unfortunately one rear cab roof corner is chipped. The tender has plastic trucks and a fixed coupler. This would be a good inexpensive starter engine for your child or grand child.
