This Lionel Operating Lift Bridge has the following features: An Ultra-smooth lifting system, Massive Counterweights, Deck of the lift bridge moves up and down on command from the control panel, Red and green signal lights warn river and rail traffic when the bridge is down and when it is being raised, Fail-safe sensors on the track control the power and prevent trains from "going over the edge" when the bridge is raised, Manually controlled klaxons and bell sounds may be activated to bring realism to the lift bridge operation, Fully illuminated lift works housings atop each tower, Strobe lights to alert passing aircraft, Rivet-for-rivet details just like real lift bridges, Total control from the panel, a Power supply is included to make it a fully independent part of the layout . Dimensions: 29 1/2" x 8" x 19 1/4" high. I am thinning myherd of over a 1 000 cars over the next several months including many intermodal and rare low production cars. Bridge was produced 21 years ago and I bought it new from Southerland Station Hobby Store in Huntsville, Alabama in 1991. This bridge has not been out of the box until tonight for photos.
