You are bidding on a postwar Lionel #153 Automatic Block Signal that was cataloged from 1940 to 1942, and again from 1945 to 1959. This one dates from the late 1950's with bayonet base light bulbs and a late classic-type box. This unit is in excellent condition and has no problems or damage. There is no rust or corrosion evident. The original paint still has a super nice appearance with only just a few minor contact marks evident. Tested and working. Comes complete with the original parts envelope that contains a #153C track contactor, lockon, fiber pins and a nice original instruction sheet (1958 dated). Includes a nice original box that has no missing flaps. Shows overall light wear. One end flap has a small tear that has been repaired. Please email if you have any questions.
