Lionel's famous or infamous Girl's set is being sold in MTOB CONDITION, ABSOLUTELY UNRUN, and featured and photographed for three of Greenberg's texts on Lionel trains. The actual train was photographed for the cover of "Greenberg's Guide to Lionel Trains Vol. II", Greenberg's Guide to Lionel Trains 1945-1969 Vol. III Sets on page 89 and Greenberg's Guide to Lionel Trains 1945-1969 Vol. I on page 66. Purchased in Hawaii and never used, this set is never seen in MINT CONDITION in today's market. All of the pieces of the set are perfectly FROSTY and in MINT UNRUN condition. I did notice, however that the engine has two tiny dots on the smokestack. The white transformer and its box as well as the wires, smoke pills and plunger are included with the billboards and boxed remote control track. The O27 track is excluded. The set box was upgraded to its present condition because the original owner from Hawaii cut the box around three sides as shown in one of the pictures in a Greenberg Guide. OBs are bright, hard and brick-like in 9.5 condition with exception of the gondola box and 6464-515 which are in 9.0 (1 1/2" tear of tabs) and 6436-500 which is 9.0 (missing tuck flap). SUPER RARE IN THIS CONDITION, IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY YOU WILL FIND A GIRL'S TRAIN WITHOUT RUBS ON ANY PIECE OR MARS SUCH AS THIS ONE. They are just perfect!!
