Presented for auction is the Rare Lionel 16234 ACY Boxcar from Lionel's11733 Feather River Service Station Special (SSS) Set break-up. This car's rarity is due to the fact that the only way to get this boxcar is from a break-up of the 11733 Service Station Special Set as Lionel never sold this car separately from this set. This car is brand new, unrun and was removed from its box for the first time in order to be photographed for this listing. Lionel made this car as part of the 11733 Feather River Set in 1992. If you are interested in the entire set, I also have one listed separately. This ACY boxcar grades out at C-9 (I do not grade any item C-10 unless it is still factory sealed). The box has a slight bulge in it (see photograph 7 - the left side of the bo x). Because of this condition I have graded the box out at P-7, although the rest of the box is in P-9 condition. At the time of this listing no other sellers could be found who had a 16234 boxcar in new and unrun condition for sale, which is no doubt a testament to its rarity.
