LIONEL ELECTRIC TRAINS TTOS 1991 CONVENTION CAR FLATCAR # 6-17889 with GOLDEN PIG PALACE TRAILER Up for auction is a LIONEL 6-17889- TTOS 1991 CONVENTION FLATCAR - GOLDEN PIG PALACE TRAILER. This car came from an estate collection and is classed as used but in excellent condition. This Lionel Commemorative Car was produced in 1991 for the TOY TRAIN OPERATORS SOCIETY ( TTOS ). There is no sign of wear or damage or any flaws. Also the box is almost perfect. The paint is clean and all the lettering is easy to read. It has metal trucks,axles,wheels, & Two Operating Couplers. This piece has it's original box. Convention cars offered by any of the various Lionel collector clubs in the United States or Canada are very limited production and are prized by collectors world wide. This item came out of a estate collection that I purchased recently. It's original owner had been collecting 'O' scale trains for over 50 years. I knew him very well and he only collected original pieces and had no time for fakes or knockoffs. He has passed on and now his collection is being sold off. Mark me as a favorite seller as there will be a lot of 'O' scale listed and sold. This piece is extreamly hard to find, especially in this condition. If you are a Lionel collector, or in need of any convention cars to finish your collection, then don't let this one slip through your fingers! In this no reserve auction!
