Up for auction is the Lionel Century Club 1997 release of the NYC F3 Diesel AA set . The number for the set is 6-18135 and the numbers on the individual boxes are 6-38106 and 6-38107. The number on both the Powered unit and Non-Powered unit is 2333 and both have the GM symbol on the side and the word Century in gold on their nose. Both units are in excellent shape, and both show signs of minor run time on the pick-up rollers. They have been lubed and oiled and everything tested just fine. The only blemish I saw on either unit can be seen in picture #3 where there is some very minor paint loss on the letter "Y" and another small spot just above it. There is nothing else to note. Both units come with original boxes plus the Century Club box and the paperwork. Also included is a 3/4" by 6" engraved plague that identifies the AA units and says Lionel Century Club . The individual boxes are in great shape but both have a small tear on one of their side tuck flaps. The set box shows minor signs of shelf wear and has one corner on the lid showing a small hole. Very Minor! You can see this in picture #4. Interesting note for the paperwork is the fact that the warrenty card shows the date 1997 but the operating booklet and the Lionel service center paperwork both show March 1999.
