Up for auction is this awesome all original Lionel #1479WS "O27" 6 car freight train set from 1952...this set comes complete as advertised in the Lionel catalog and includes the 4-6-4 engine #2056 locomotive with smoke, which was the largest of all "O27" steam engines with 6 driving wheels...the 2056 locomotive was only produced for 1 year in 1952...set also includes the #2046 tender with built in whistle, the #6462 gondola car with 7 original wood barrels, #6465 double dome Sunoco oil car, #6456 Lehigh Valley R.R. hopper car and the #6257 caboose...also included are 8 sections of curved track, 3 sections of straight track & the #6019 remote control track, the original #1033 - 90 watt transformer with its box...one (1) CTC lockon , original bottle of SP smoke pellets with 6 pellets still remaining and the original instruction booklet...the only item missing from the original set is a small tube of lubricant...all of the cars are in excellent, like new condition...no damage or problems...the locomotive & transformer have been tested and are in working order...all cars come in their original boxes as does the transformer & the remote control track...the condition of the boxes is as follows: #2056 locomotive and #2046 tender boxes are in excellent condition with inserts, Sunoco car and caboose boxes are in very good condition...the read more
