This is a postwar Lionel 2020 6-8-6 locomotive built in 1947-49 and a 6466 W whistle tender. The locomotive engine itself is a 2020, but the boiler casting is a 682, so it was switched sometime in the past. The locomotive motor, brush plate, armature faces, worm-gear drive, and all bearings have been cleaned and lubricated. The smoke chamber works well-it is the original resistance heater type. The light is operational as well. The locomotive has die cast 6-wheel pilot and trailing trucks, and original hand railing. Everything works. The 3-position E-Unit works smoothly. There are no breaks, cracks, or missing parts other than normal wear. The locomotive does not have Magnetraction, so it is not a high speed heavy duty puller like the 682. The tender is in good condition. There is a chip in the front right corner where the step should be. The whistle motor has been cleaned and lubricated, and it works..Refund if not satisfied.
