LIONEL 2037 SMOKINGLOCOMOTIVE & TENDER Nice old locomotive, Original Lionel. Not for the collector, this one is for the operator. Both rhinestones and head lamp lens are intact. Motor runs strong, E-Unit responds properly. Smoke unit operates, smokes like a bandit. Steam chest / cowcatcher unbroken, both steps are intact. Clean running gear! Body does have contact marks. There is a bend on the canopy corner. The tender whistle works fine. There is a good chip toward the back, at the coal pile end. Good Loco / tender for the operator. A good cleaning and lubrication is needed. these have been sitting for a few years High Shipping, American made steel here.
