For bid, Lionel #220 Standard Gauge Floodlight Car, very clean. Platform is black and the base is terra-cotta. Paint is really good all around and completely original, the only area with wear is along the side edges where the platform ridge extends outward. Brass is real clean--there are areas on the light housings where the laquer has been scraped and those areas have tarnished; the brass has not been scratched--brass polish and a coat of laquer would eliminate those discolored areas--seller leaves that to the buyer to address as s/he chooses. There is only one part not original--one of the floodlight lenses is acrylic. The floodlights work well and the sliding switch operates smoothly and enables either floodlight to be lighted or both to be off. Underbody, wheels, trucks, and axles are similarly clean. There is some oxidation on one underbody coupler housing. Also being offered by seller at this time is a # 517 standard gauge caboose. We combine shipping. Shipping weight is 3 pounds and shipping cost includes USPS insurance. Please feel free to email with questions.
