VERY NICE 221! Runs Great! Has original paint and numbers, however it had a ROUGH FEEL to it in many places although it looked VERY NICE! I would imagine this would be due to age, these were only made in 1946, and part of 1947! I decided I would clear coat it to get rid of the rough feel to it that it had in spots! SUCESS! The rough feel is gone, and it gave it a shiny look! When first made, these were GREY&SHINY! SUPER NICE APPEARANCE! The shell is perfect, no cracks,breaks,warps,chips,or dings! It has no markers, cowcatcher is completely intact, these have no steps! Bottom of large headlight was chipped, so I dressed it with a file, and it is now SMOOTH! Numbers are crisp, both sides, but do not show up well in photos! No Tender,GREY NYC Striped Tenders, are VERY HARD TO FIND! CENTER SECTION ON ONE VALVE ROD IS SLIGHTLY THICKER ON ONE SIDE,may have broken, and been replaced, very hard to find those SKINNY rods, both WORK GREAT!
