THIS WEEK I WILL HAVE SEVERAL F-3s (10) W/MASTER CARTONS (6) FOR SALE, ALL OF WHICH WILL BE EITHER MINT OR LIKE NEW. THEY ARE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE. THIRTY SEVEN YEARS OF COLLECTING IS COMING TO A CLOSE AND I HAVE CHOSEN EBAY AS THE VENUE TO LIQUIDATE MY COLLECTION. THERE WILL BE OTHER RARE ITEMS TO PURCHASE AS WELL. ITEMS SUCH AS THE 2350 REVERSE LETTER PAINTED NOSE NEW HAVEN, 6464-100 (250 BOX) W.P., 682, 736 W/MASTER CARTON, 2329, 2346, 2365, 2339, 2338 ORANGE STRIPE, B-UNITS, AND MANY, MANY MORE EXTREMELY RARE ITEMS.
THESE SANTA FE UNITS ARE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND COLLECTOR GRADE, C-10 . THEY ARE MINT (UNUSED, SEE PICTURES). THEY COME WITH THEIR BOXES, INSERTS, CORRECT WRAPPING PAPER AND CORRECT DATED INSTRUCTIONS. THEY ARE NOT A TRAIN I OBTAINED FROM AN AUCTION OR OTHER COLLECTORS. THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE OF COUNTERFEITING I.E. BLACKENING THE WHEELS AND SPRAYING A DULL COAT TO GIVE THE IMPRESSION OF THE ITEM BEING MINT. THIS IS EASY TO SPOT BY THE TRAINED EYE. I DID NOT TAKE THAT RISK WHEN THESE TRAINS WERE PURCHASED.
PLEASE EXAMINE THE PICTURES OF THE CABS, WHEELS AND FRAME CAREFULLY AND YOU WILL SEE THE QUALITY OF THIS FANTASTIC PAIR. THE PAINT ON THE ROOFS IS PERFECT, AS FROSTY AS IT WAS 61 YEARS AGO. THE DECALS ARE IMMACULATE. THEY HAVE NOT FLAKED OR CHIPPED AROUND THE DOORS. THEY HAVE NOT RECEDED LIKE MOST DECALS DO AFTER 60 YEARS. THE SMALL BLACK DECALS ON THE SIDES OF THE ENGINES ARE ALSO 100% PERFECT. IT'S AS IF THE CLOCK WAS TURNED BACK IN TIME. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT BRIGHT RED AND SILVER PAINT. THE FRAMES ARE SMOOTH WITH NO TRUCK SWING MARKS ON THE UNDERSIDE.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING CONDITION AND SIMPLY THE BEST I'VE SEEN OVER 37 YEARS OF COLLECTING. A MAGNIFICENT TRAIN! THE CORRECT PAPER, C-10, IS ALSO INCLUDED. THE MASTER CARTON HAS THE CORRECT OPS CEILING PRICE STAMP ON ONE END. THE POWER "A" BOX IS HARD AND SQUARE, C10 AND INCLUDES ITS INSERT AND IS STAMPED "X" DESIGNATING A SEPARATE SALE ITEM. THE DUMMY BOX, C-10, IS SQUARE, HARD, HAS ITS INSERT AND WRAPPING PAPER....... SIMPLY PERFECT.
These pristine SANTA FE AA units are rich in color, frosty and have the original patina of the day they were made. Gray mold and unrun condition make this pair as desirable as any on the market. You will find engines of this rarity and condition selling for $3000-$3500 OR MORE (without the master carton) at prime auctions and collector shows. Add the appropriate amount for the master carton, bid accordingly, and you will have one the best Santa Fe AA sets known. Please consider the difficulty of finding a piece in this condition, age and rarity as the driving forces of its value. THERE IS A MATCHING MINT B-UNIT FOR THIS SET AS A SEPARATE ITEM IN ONE OF MY OTHER AUCTIONS. Good luck if you choose to bid and email me if you have questions or need more pictures or information. I will be happy to assist you in any way I can.
OUR FEEDBACK IS 100%. ALL PURCHASERS ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED THE THE PRODUCT THEY PURCHASED WAS WHAT THEY EXPECTED. THERE HAVE BEEN NO SURPRISES FOR A BUYER. REASONABLE SHIPPING CHARGES AND NEXT DAY SHIPPING ARE OF A HIGH PRIORITY. COMBINED SHIPPING IS A POSSIBILITY DEPENDING ON THE ITEMS PURCHASED. MOST QUALIFY.

PLEASE NOTE: These engines are test run, like new. Inadvertently, same format was used as a previous engine's (2344) listing. There is just the slightest run time on them .
