This auction is for a very nice Lionel 2344C New York Central B unit replacement cab! I'm calling it a replacement cab because, when I found the cab it was part of a huge collection of Lionel merchandise from a Michigan City, IN Lionel Service Station, "Michigan City Electric". The cab is in spectacular condition! The paint still has its original factory patina to it and the white lettering & "lightning stripe" are just perfect on both sides of the cab! In picture 6 there are a couple of small rubs/colored blemishes on the one small area of the cab. They don't detract from the overall quality of the cab but, I wanted to point them out. Please also note, that there are no portholes with this cab. This is the earlier version of the NYC B unit that fastens down to a frame with 4 screws. Please look at the pictures carefully and judge the condition for yourself! This car would make a nice addition to your collection!
