Lionel #2460 Bucyrus Eire Crane Car, from 1946 through 1950, Lionel marketed what many collectors believe to be the finest railroad crane of the postwar era, the 2460. These cars featured die-cast frames with six-wheel trucks and injection-molded plastic bodies. The injection-molded plastic boom had metal sheaves added and supported a die-cast block and tackle, with the hook. This crane car is original, cleaned with new cord. The box with the liner is in very good condition. Check enlarged photos for exact condition of crane car and boxes. Shipping $12.00.
