This is an original motor for a 249E and similar engines. It includes an e-unit and some linkage. As you can see, the headlight is still attached. I replaced the left rear wheel with a NOS part and fixed two broken wires. E-unit cycles, but motor does not run. Armature tests OK. Really dirty and I suspect that you will want to clean this very well and rewire the entire motor. It has a nice tight action, and am pretty confident that it will clean up well.
