I purchased this set some time in the early 1960's at the R & S on Spingfield avenue in Irvington,N.J. just a few miles from the Lionel factory. Offered without reserve is this rare Lionel 2505W set which includes the 2329 Virginia rectifier, 6519 Allis Chalmers with perfect brake wheels, 6805 Atomic Energy with perfect container handles, 6800 Airplane car perfect plane, 6464-500 Box car perfect, and the 6357 caboose. Set also contains Super O track. All the car boxes are good on one end rough on other with some tears to flaps and some missing flaps. The cars and engine show like new with very little run time. The engine box is long gone. The engine has beautiful paint no chips on body or frame railing are close to perfect. Battery box is clean and spotless. All cars are in collectors quality. Additional photos upon request. The only box that does not have both end flaps is the airplane car the other flaps on the other boxes are either partially torn or missing side flaps or tuck flaps. The boxes are not perfect and are not of collector quality the engine and cars are like new.
