Lionel # 252 Prewar "O" Gauge Locomotive in Peacock Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Here's a clean and complete Lionel # 252 prewar "O" gauge locomotive. This was restored some years ago and has picked up a few minor nicks and chips since. In my opinion, the person who repainted it absolutely "nailed" the peacock color.....it's a beautiful job that is just the right shade ! It has new wiring and new wheels.....the restorer also opted to add a second headlight which, while not "correct", looks pretty darn good. It has been track-tested and runs smoothly and quietly in both directions, and both headlights light up nicely.Please examine the pictures and see if you don't agree this is a darn good looking locomotive !
