Lionel # 2652 Prewar "O" Gondola with O/B Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Please note that I will not be available to respond to your questions until the evening of Sunday 3/24/13.Here's a clean and complete Lionel # 2652 prewar gondola in yellow and black. The first thing I must mention is that a prior owner touched up the top edge of the body at some point....it's a close color match and I probably wouldn't have noticed except that I did see what looked like chips under the paint, and sure enough.....so - I couldn't even make this touchup evident in my pictures but, trust me, it's there ! Pictures 4+5 show the top edge of the body to be slightly darker that the sides, and this is actually pretty accurate.That said, The sides of the body and the frame are in very nice original condition with just light playwear. Both couplers operate perfectly. The wheels, axels and plated coupler parts are very clean.The original box is taped shut at one end, and the tuck flap & 1 small flap appear to be missing. The other end has all flaps intact. The sides have rust marks on them.Despite the touchup work, this would make a fine "runner" for your layout and really would not display badly, either !
