It has opening hatches on the bottom. This hopper features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels. This hopper has a few very light scratches, but is otherwise in very nice shape! This item has been inspected by our authorized Lionel service station. Please see picture for inspection details.
