Up for auction is an ALL ORIGINAL Lionel # 3456 N&W Operating Hopper. It was made between 1950 to 1955. I believe it is the later version because it has the bar-end trucks on it. Both knuckle couplers are the magna-matic and were tested and one works. I would consider it to be in excellent condition, for it's age as it has paint chips inside the hopper bays. There are no breaks or cracks in the body. It also has a few minor chips on the outside of the body. This car has the 2 bottom dump hoppers that were used with the coal ramp made at that time.
