LIONEL # 6-38308 PWCLASSICS "2146WS" BERKSHIRE MADISON PASSENGER SET *NEW* Here and NEW is the outstanding Lionel replica of the postwar favorite "2146WS" Lionel Lines Berkshire Passenger Set cat # 6-38308 with the Lionel Repro of the "726" Berkshire Steam Loco with "2426W" die cast tender plus (3) Madison Style Passenger Cars.. This item is in BRAND NEW, MINT, unopened, unrun condition with original box.. (image below is the demo model, the one for sale is still sealed in original box with factory shipper carton).. I have been informed by Lionel the loco in this set was manufactured without Magne Traction... By popular demand Lionel continues its series of trains called "Conventional Classics".. The items in this series utilize the actual original tooling whenever possible and are equipped with legendary Lionel Pullmor motors and, in some cases, the patented Magne-Traction system... True to their storied predecessors, they're accurately decorated, utilizing authentic road names, the "LIONEL LINES" name, and the original "BUILT BY LIONEL" markings... Aimed at the postwar collector, the loco's don't have TMCC and fancy sound systems, but include realistic Whistle and Bell sounds... What sets them apart is the presentation.. Packaged in a repro cartons, insert and wrapping paper just like the originals , I have tried to show this in a photo of the demo model, but it doesn't really capture the feeling of what it's like to take one of these out of the shipper carton.. You'll swear you just found a "mint postwar original".. it's really a great job by Lionel to recapture the look and feel of the original postwar pieces..
