Up for bid is one Lionel 4-4-2 Steam Engine and matching tender. Lettered for the Santa Fe Railroad Number 8632. This came from a Lionel set and was run a short time one Christmas around our tree and is from a non smoking adult only home. Locomotive and tender are in excellent condition and very clean, looks new, only defect I could find was the glass colored jewel on the left front marker light is missing, easily replaced. Locomotive is heavy diecast metal, has working headlight and smoke, has nice cab detail and has the newer electronic E Unit eliminating the switch on the top of the locomotive boiler and works every time without hesitation. Tender is plastic with metal frame and has third rail roller pick up for the electric air whistle just like the old time Lionel trains did. Test run in forward and reverse and runs very smoothly and quiet like you would expect from a good Lionel engine. Total length is 18 inches and weighs in at about 3 and 1/2 pounds, a real toy train. From a set so no box or instuctions but will be carefully wrapped for shipping and local pick up is always free. Becuse of weight I will give you a couple of shipping options but if you want it by Christmas I would suggest Priority Mail. If you pay right away I will ship it out on Monday Morning.
