#400 Budd Passenger Car with original instruction sheet. This is a fantastic smooth running engine. Lights and horn work. The first replica of a RDC produced by Lionel was this rendition of and RDC-1 offered from 1956-58. Features a silver painted body with blue heat-stamped lettering. Further decorated with passenger sillouettes in the windows and a "Budd/RDC-1" nameplate. Magnetraction on both axles of the power truck, an operating horn, three-position E-unit and three lamp interior illumination. Operating couplers at each end. 15 1/4 inches long. Looks beautiful on any layout or display.
