Up for bid is a Lionel #520 box engine with the pantograph. The pantograph top is a flawed repro with one tiny mounting pin missing. The spring that holds up the original bottom half piece is also missing. It is cosmetically not too bad with some wear on the white striping and a few spots of patina on the black metal truck sides. It does run forward and reverse fine on a test track. It is a non-lighted unit. You may be able to improvise some how on the missing pin on the pantograph. I am not sure if the spring is available from the parts guys though. The only other flaw to mention is that the two prongs that hold the shell on one end are missing one of the prongs. You don’t notice it unless you open the engine or pick it up just by the shell which isn’t recommended even on a perfect shell. Again this is a running train and should be track ready as the bearings were given a light oiling.Lot sold as is. All questions should be submitted at least 24 hours before end of auction. Buyer to pay shipping and is responsible for payment within 48 hours of end of auction and/or receiving an invoice from me. Massachusetts residents are responsible for the state tax. I do not charge a shipping and handling charge and reuse and recycle packaging materials to save you money on shipping. I only charge what USPS charges me for your item with very few exceptions. Should you request special packaging that requires a cash layout on my part I will have to include it in the shipping total. All items ship next business day for the most part once Paypal pay confirmation is received. Bidders outside the US must email me first before bidding. I have been getting non paying foreign customers backing out of their bids because they failed to consider the high cost of shipping from the US which I have no control over. Yes, I do combine shipping if you win multiple lots if it is practical. Thanks and good luck bidding!
