Here are 3 very nice vintage postwar Lionel Baby Ruth Box Cars, one #6034 box car and two #1004 box cars. These box cars are clean and in very nice shape with no cracks, breaks, or rust. The lettering on each is complete, clear, and bold. The cars show little signs of handling or use. The #6034 box car has the scout type trucks with factory installed magnetic couplers. The two #1004 box cars are different factory variations. The first box car is the early variation from about 1948 with the name Baby Ruth in outlined letters. This box car has bar end trucks installed. The second #1004 has the name Baby ruth in bold letters. This box car rides on scout type trucks. The second #1004 box car comes with the original box. The box is clean and square with all flaps at one end and just the detached end flap at the other end. These box cars will display well and will be nice additions to your collection or layout.
