Classic Postwar Era Lionel Diesel Locomotive.Lionel #622 Diesel Switcher with ringing bell. This is the variation with the number 622 printed on the nose of the locomotive meaning it's from the very first year this model was produced and is the most desirable of the #622 diesels produced.Even better is that the mechanical bell which is often broken on many of these units still works!!Unit does run but the motor and e-unit do need a good cleaning from somebody with more time and know-how than I currently have. Only other issue is that the wire between the front electro-coupler and the pick up shoe on the front truck is broken and will need to be fixed.Shipping price is to the lower 48 states only. Will ship off the continent but buyer agrees to negotiate higher shipping costs.
