Up for auction is this Lionel No. 6446 Cement Car or covered hopper in Like New C-8 condition with its original box which is also in great condition. One if not the nicest one that you will see. The pictures show just how very nice and new this car and box look. This #6446 covered hopper (or cement car as Lionel called it) is in like new condition and was made in 1954 or 1955 and has bar end trucks with two magnetic couplers. It is super clean and numbered 546446 on the sides. The cover and the 12 hatches fit fine and all hatches open and close. T are no breaks, splits, or problems with the plastic end struts or ladders. Both couplers hold tight and spring open just as from the factory. All four steps and the brakewheel are present. T are no marks or any imperfections that I can find --not even any dust at the ends above the trucks under the grey body. Rolls great and is ready to get to work on your layout or display shelf. The box is just as nice as the car itself (see photos) and very crisp--no tape, creases, or pen marks. All four sides and the two ends are in great shape with only very minor scuffs on one side.
