You are bidding on an original Lionel Post War Number 671 Pennsylvania 6-8-6 Steam Turbine Locomotive in very good to excellent condition. This car was only made by Lionel from 1946 to 1949 and there are not many for sale, so bid now or you may miss out in getting this rare locomotive! This is the big steam locomotive that weighs over 5 and 1/2 pounds and has the powerful motor and smoke system. There are no holes or cracks in the plastic and the trucks are rust free, although it does have some wear marks or scratches on the locomotive. It was bench tested and works in forward and reverse. This was one of my favorite post war locomotives as it would pull many cars in slow or fast speed and never let me down. It has been in my collection for over twenty years. Operating results are from simple bench-testing to help determine if mechanism is intact and working at the time. Quoted Shipping Costs Shipping costs consists of postage plus any packing materials required plus label & printing. Sometimes, the shipping costs end up being different than those I originally quoted on the auction using the E-bay shipping wizard. Most of the time the actual shipping costs is within the price paid. If I have charged more than is needed, I will refund the difference back to you if it is 50 cents or more. If you think the shipping costs are to high please contact me as I have found them to be in error occasionally. If you still have an issue with my costs please let me know immediately and I’ll see what we can do to make both of us happy! If you have issues, I will do everything I can to resolve the problem. Bottom line, I am very honest about shipping charges and am not trying to make money off anyone for shipping. However, I do have to cover my costs. So, please know that I will do everything I can to package your item without neglecting the packaging care needed to make sure you get the item your purchased not damaged by the shipping companies. Insurance With regard to insurance, I can no longer be responsible for any package which are not fully insured . It is your responsibility to let me know that you would like to have the package insured prior to paying for the item. If you want your item insured e-mail me prior to paying for the item and I will be glad to send you an invoice for the actual insurance charges and make sure that your item leaves here well packaged and insured.
