Lionel #726 Steam Engine. This is a nice version of the engine made by Lionel in the 1940s. The engine is clean and in nice shape with no cracks, breaks, or rust. The wheels and rods show a nice bright finish. The engine shows some light signs of handling and some light run time. Lights up and runs in forward and reverse. The 726 cab number is nice and complete on one side but is not present on the other side. Perhaps the number was not marked at the factory? The engine was stored for many years so a servicing is recommended if you wish to run it. This engine will display very well and will be a nice addition to your collection or layout. Please check the pictures for more description and please feel free to ask questions. This engine is from a collection of Lionel and Plasticville items that I will be listing in the next few months.
