Lionel 726M-1X Gold Seal High Stack Motor Description: Item Description: Above you will find a single view picture of a like new 726M-1X motor. These motors were used exclusively in the 726 during their initial production in 1946 and were replaced later by the 726M-41 motor without the high stack field and armature. These are rare motors in this condition and priced accordingly. Later the 726 frame was redesigned to accommodate the 671M-1 motor. The majority of the motors we offer came from Lionel's own service station stocks in Little Falls, New Jersey or from Madison Hardware. Most are brand new and unused and some appear to have been recovered from incomplete manufacturing units. In all cases, we have taken them all apart to check everything from the armature and windings, right down to the bearings and brushes. When we are finished, they are test run, checked against Lionel's specifications and made ready for your installation. Have you grown tired of spending top dollar for junk recovered from run out engines? Are you tired of reading "It runs good" only to find out you need to put more money into it??? Ask the seller of one of those motors if they will guarantee it!!! Sure, you won't buy one of our motors for $25 or $35, but remember, it operates to the specifications created by Lionel and requires nothing from you but installation - we guarantee it!
