The matte black finish on the 773 and 2426W looks like it just came from the factory. There are no rubs or blemishes anywhere. No touch-ups. The 2426W tender has the 1949-50 plastic inside whistle housing as per 774 Hudson production. The tender comes with 1950 style wrapping paper.
The master carton is the correct 1950 version with orange labels. It is exceptionally solid and square with all flaps. The interior locomotive and tender boxes and inserts grade 9.5. These high grade boxes and master carton are rarely found today.
Shipping is $40.00 via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days) with insurance. If the actual shipping cost is less, I will refund the difference.
I am selling my entire collection of postwar Lionel trains, most of which are in mint/unrun condition with original boxes. The collection is primarily steam, diesel and electric locomotives with some passenger car sets. The trains will be sold on eBay over the coming weeks.
Note my 100% positive rating and . If any train is ever inadvertently misrepresented, I will gladly provide a full refund. Always feel free to ask questions Thanks for looking and good luck.
