The loco is a C-8 and was used around the Christmas tree. Ran forward and reverse smoked and thelight worked. I would say that it probably doesn’t have 1/2 hour run time on it. Paperwork included (though not shown in photos). The camera flash causes the side rods to appear to be a reddish-brown but they are shinny silver. The sound of steam wire has been removed from the loco since it is no longer needed. The Tender has a 2224T frame with an original air whistle. It works and is loud and clear. The trucks are the 6 wheel metal trucks that came with the 80s loco and has a metal coupler instead of the plastic one that came with the tender. All Lionel original. The freight cars are the ones that came with the PWC 746 space-aged set except for the caboose that was produced in 1997. They are all mint however the box for the tender has some shelf ware but the caboose still appears to be mint. They are: #6175 Flatcar with Rocket, #3419 Helicopter Launch Car, #3440 Radar Car, #6470 Exploding Target Car, #6550 Missile Launching Flatcar and #6517 Nickel Plate Road Caboose.
