I am offering this Lionel #8305 Milwaukee Road 4-4-2 Atlantic Steam Loco with a 2871W Sounds Tender from 1973. No original box or instructions; but, I am including a parts diagram and parts number list for the Loco. I do not have a layout, so I tested the pair on a short section of track. The Loco has a 2 position switch for Forward & Reverse. There is no Neutral, which can be a nice convenience. The Loco ran well in Forward & Reverse. It sounds a bit noisy, like the gears need lubrication. The Headlight works fine. I did not test the smoke unit. The Tender has a wire connection to the Loco. The Tender produces a "chug-chug" sound when in motion. The sounds did work, but, because of the short test track, I could not fully test it. Both the Engine & Tender look pretty good. They show just a little dirt and some minor scratches—hardly noticeable. The Loco looks to be all die-cast metal; while the Tender has a metal frame, fount coupler, axles, and wheels. The shell, trucks, rear coupler (non-operating), and air deflector for the whistle are plastic. No signs of rust and no apparent cracks, breaks, or missing pieces. The Loco weights 3 lb. 2 oz., which should enable it to pull some nice size loads. This pair should make a nice addition to your layout. NOTE: I will be listing other model train items (other scales too) over the next
