WOW What an OUTSTANDING Accessory for your Railroad!! This is a copy of the famous, Lionel no. 840 Power Station. It is beautifully made by the T Reproductions Co. out of pressed steel and painted just like the original Power Station made by Lionel in the years of 1928-42. This Power Station is big and in very good condition. It has been used, but not abused and looks great. There are a few of the white window inserts missing, made out of light plastic and should be easy to reproduce if needed. We left the wires to the 6 knife switches at the back of the building connected for the new owner to use or not.The base measures 26" long X 19" wide X 18" to the top of the chimneys. It weighs an impressive 30 lbs. This is metal, not plastic and built to last a lifetime. It will be a fantastic addition to your Tinplate, Standard gauge or O gauge layout or on your collector's shelf. You do not see these very often, here is your opportunity to own your very own Power Station. This will be a super addition to your operating Railroad or on your collector's shelf. Thank you for looking, good luck in your bidding and please check out the other Train listings we have up for auction at this time. We will gladly combine the items you won to save on postage costs.
