Please review our new policies regarding combined shipping . In Stock and Ready to Ship! This is a Lionel 8406 New York Central 783 Semi Scale Hudson Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1984. This was the first modern era reissue of the famous Scale Hudson and is very similar to the 1964 version of the Postwar Era 773. It features a die-cast boiler,an open frame motor, Magnetraction, an operating smoke unit with smoke puffing from steam chest, and an operating headlight, and an electronic whistle and Sound of Steam. The tender has 6-wheel trucks and also features a die-cast shell and is the same style as the postwar 2426. This locomotive has several scratches and nicks on the body. The opaint has chipped around the same domes. The paint on the boiler catwalks has been touched up. This item has been inspected by our Authorized Lionel Service Station. Please see inspection card for details. The wiring harness has been replaced with a similarly designed one. Also, the brushes and coal load have been replced. The overall appearance of this car may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included. The original box is not included.
