This is a Lionel 8551 Pennsylvania Little Joe EP-5 Powered Electric Locomotive from 1975-76. Features include working headlights, pantographs, illuminated cabs at both ends, remote forward, neutral and reverse, die-cast metal trucks and operating couplers on both ends. Completely operable, this piece shows signs of use, with a few scratches on the shell. One of the pantographs has all 4 insulator posts broken at the top. Thus, the pantograph can spin. The lettering is complete. Overall condition is Very Good-plus. This item was inspected by both our in-house Lionel Postwar experts and by our Authorized Lionel Service Station and we guarantee this item is completely functional and operable.
