Up for bidding is a Lionel 8606 Boston & Maine Hudson. Manufactured by Lionel in 1986. New in the Box. Never run, never displayed. We are the original owners, purchased new direct from Lionel. So you've looked thru your old catalogs and can't find this engine? It was an uncataloged Locomotive. Made only the one year. This was only available as a direct sale from Lionel themselves. No dealers were involved. This is a massive Hudson. Based on the famous Post War 773. Trailer the massive die cast Locomotive is a die cast tender with whistle. One of the nifty features with this Locomotive is smoke from not only the smoke stack but also from the steam chests. Weighing in at nearly 10lbs, this is a Lionel brute.
