LIONEL ELECTRIC TRAINS Lionel 6-8687 - JERSEY CENTRAL FM (FAIRBANKS MORSE) TRAINMASTER DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE Up for auction is a Lionel # 8687 Jersey Central Fairbanks Morse Diesel Locomotive. This piece is used, but in excellent condition. The locomotive has been test run, and it runs great. I ran it around our test layout, and it performed beautifully in both directions. All the lights work. The paint looks to be decent, the lettering is crisp, and the decals are excellent. There doesn't seem to be any broken parts - as you can see in the photos'. The box is a little shelf worn, but is original - also, this locomotive comes with it's original paperwork. This Locomotive would be great for a beginner to expand his railroad with. It runs good, and could be weathered up to fit in with an aging fleet of locomotives! - In this no reserve auction!
