LIONEL 8775 & 8778 LEHIGH VALLEY GP-9 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVES IN ORIGINAL BOXES LOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of a LIONEL 8775 & 8778 LEHIGH VALLEY GP-9 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE SET. Made in the 1978-79 time period. The 8775 in the powered unit and the 8778 in the non-powered dummy unit. The loco has operating headlights, automatic couplers and when coupled together makes a great looking set almost 30 inches long. The set comes with the original boxes (some storage-time damage) and all the instructions and paper work. . DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: Set is like new, very little track time, not a mark on the plastic shells. WORKING CONDITION: I have tested the loco and it runs and reverses perfectly.
