This rare Lionel / Plasticville 986 Farmhouse and Barnyard Set appears to be brand new and unused. I have had it in dry storage since the late 1970s.While I cannot be certain it came this way originally, the packaging makes sense. There are three sealed packets: two with animals and one with blue window shutters and trim and a few white parts (TV antenna and door?). The building parts look as though they have never been assembled. There are a few very small red and white parts, including a red weathervane, that are loose. Two instruction sheets are also included; one is warped as shown in the photos . The box has some shelf wear and dings, as also shown . I'm not a Lionel collector, so I don't feel confident giving this a condition grade.
