LIONEL #9871 CARLING BLACK LABEL BEER BILLBOARD REEFER Offered at auction is a Lionel #9871 Carling Black Label Beer Billboard Reefer which was only produced in 1977, 1978 and 1980 as part of the Billboard Reefer Beer Series. It is given a rarity rating of " 3" in the TM Guide. This very attractive reefer car is in Factory New/Brand New condition: all original and unused and unblemished. It appears to be brand new, but it may have been test run, thus it cannot be considered Mint. It has perfect white, gold and black lettering, and clean, crisp Carling Black Label Beer logos and markings. This sharp-looking Carling Black Label Beer Billboard Reefer comes with a nice, clean, complete original box, and it would be a most welcome addition to any collection or operating railroad!
