This is a Limited Edition Lionel " Silver Shadow" Atlantic Coast Lines Steam Locomotive #6-8006. It was made in 1980 by Lionel for the J.C. Penney Company as a Limited edition catalog item. Only 2,200 were made!! The locomotive Features Die-Cast Construction, a 4-6-4 Wheel Configuration, Full Drive and Valve Rod Linkage, Liquid Smoke Unit, Add-on Handrails, Bells and Whistle, Working Headlight, 3-Way E unit, Magnetraction. The Tender Features a Plastic Body, Stamped Steel Chassis, "Mighty Sound of Steam" Electronic Speaker, and a Non-Operating Rear Coupler. The ACL Hudson Steam Engine and Tender are Like New and operate in that manner. Keep in mind that this comes from the collection of an older gentleman who shelf-stored it. It needs a good cleaning and would benefit from routine maintenance and oiling. The Engine and Display Case come in their two (2) original shipping boxes and will be shipped separately and in those boxes. If the buyer wants to preserve the shipping boxes, additional charges will apply for the added packaging and weight.
